·In May, 1988 Yueqing People Low-voltage Ele. Appliance Factory which is the predecessor of today's People Group founded. It had only 12 employees and 30 thousand RMB assets.
·In August, 1992 Zheng Yuanbao, together with Ye Yusen and Ye Lin took over the control of Yueqing People Low-voltage Ele. Appliance Factory. It moved from Huanghua to Liushi in order to expand development in November.
·In December, 1995 The factory was upgraded to Zhejiang People Low-voltage Ele. Appliance Factory and realized production value 52 million RMB in the same year.
·In May, 1996 Zhejiang People Ele. Appliance group was organized by uniting 66 enterprieses. It achieved 180 million RMB production value in the same year.
·On Feb. 18th, 1997 People Ele. Appliance Newspaper was born and the preceding associate of People Daily nominated its name.
